We are inviting all children to design a crown ‘Fit for a King’ as part of our celebrations to mark The Coronation of King Charles III.
As a part of the design process, children may want to explore the interests and passions of our new King – his love of nature, sustainability, protecting the future of our environment etc. and to reflect this in their crowns.
Designs can be drawn on a piece of paper, or your child may want to create an actual crown using sustainable or recycled materials.
The crowns will be judged following the Coronation Celebration weekend and prizes awarded for each year group. Please send in your designs or your actual crowns as soon as they are ready so that we can start to decorate the school ready for our own Coronation Celebrations on Friday 5 May.
