Phonics is the teaching and learning of letters and sounds and it will support your child when they are learning to read and write. At Damers we follow the Little Wandle letters and sounds revised program which includes whole class daily sessions, group reading and interventions. It is incredibly important that you encourage your child to fill in their Phoneme Book each night to support their learning at school.
