Play rehearsals have begun in Skipper 1 this week! You should have received a letter telling you which character your child will be and the costume they will need. If the letter did not make it home, let Mrs Lewis know on the gate or via the office. Costumes need to be in school by 4 December latest. Please support your child at home by encouraging them to practice lines, (with a loud, clear voice) and songs we will perform together. We have been discussing roles and responsibilities of both performer and audience member- please ask your child how they will be a responsible performer.
As part of our continuous provision, the children have been independently exploring shape. Our next focus in Maths is shape and pattern- it has been lovely to observe the knowledge and understanding gained last year in Foundation, which we will build on in the next few weeks.
