Music
Music is full of conversations between instruments (and/or voices). Ideas are often passed back and forth, copied, and developed. Our music sessions until shortly after Easter will enable the children to create musical conversations of their own, using a range of instruments. This week the children improvised question-and-answer conversations using percussion instruments. We noticed that taking turns was an essential skill needed for a successful musical conversation!
Art
We made natures paintbrushes, using natural materials from our school grounds. The children explored what marks and textures they could create.
