Art project

During this half term we have been investigating form in art. Our learning journey began by investigating concentric circles, then spirals, developing the skills needed for line drawing. We were inspired by artists such as Kadinsky, James Brunt, Andy Goldsworthy, Winston Plowes and Jon Foreman.

We used different techniques to create concentric circles and spirals.

We needed knowledge, understanding and skills to create our collaborative art project to represent our learning throughout this unit of enquiry. Today we completed our project. The children worked together to create unique designs of both spirals and concentric circles using pebbles and sand. The sculptures look fantastic and showcase the children’s learning.
